WHAT IS THE HER INITIATIVE?
The Her Initiative was founded in 2005 by Kayla Huff. By providing clean water to women and children in developing countries, this group of women is changing lives. Through different campaigns, events, and fundraising, The Her Initiative is making clean water accessible and shares inspiring stories on its blog.
“This is an initiative to get women here supporting women there.”
Getting involved is easy! The initiative also provides health and hygiene education through discussion and is free for women. You can also sweat for Her by going to fitness classes that partner with local businesses and help women support women. Throw a party to support this cause! The possibilities are endless. By providing 4 themed kits (FREE!), you can celebrate while making a positive impact on the Global Water Crisis.
WHY WE THINK IT’S IMPORTANT…
There is so much to be said about the Global Water Crisis. 1.8 billion people around the world STILL need safe water. The change these ladies are making in developing countries to make sure women and their families are safe and well is incredible. Equal access to clean water shouldn’t be an issue, and we believe in the change this organization is making. Having women support women and helping the water crisis is a double-win to us.
